all over the world, Georgian winemaking musters more than 500 varieties of wine.
Georgian wine production is considered to have begun over 7000 years ago.

Overnight Tbilisi
The day will start with a review excursion in Tbilisi, and visit the wine museum in
Karvasla. Here are demonstrated key archeological and ethnographic items related to
Georgian wineries. Get introduced of winemaking culture and degustation of different
types of wine.
Continue tour to Sarajishvili Brandy factory. The tasting of old brandy, will warm you up
and get you ready for new impressions.
Dinner in a Georgian restaurant with a traditional dance performance. Georgian “Supra”
– will be led with Traditional “Tamada”. He will introduce you to different famous toasts
Overnight in Tbilisi
In the morning drive to Mtskheta- the ancient capital and religious center. Visit
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Then drive to Saguramo -in Guramishvili’s Marani. To have
masterclasses in Georgian bread Shoti making, and churchkhela. Tasting three types of
wine and lunch.
We continue to drive to the town of Gori – the heart of Kartli region. We visit Uplistsikhe
Cave Town that’s the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass.
We will continue our way to Gori to visit the distinguished Nika Vacheishvili family
winery, which purpose develop the centuries-old agricultural and cultural traditions of the
Ateni gorge region. Produces several traditional types of natural wines from small
amounts of high-quality grapes from its own vineyards In the heart of Kartli - in the Ateni
valley, offers an unforgettable day to get to know the local nature, gastronomy, and wine.

Overnight in Ateni-Gori
After breakfast with beautiful view, we depart to Kutaisi. On the way we will visit Baia’s
WineCellar- this is a family estate located in the village of Obcha, a 40-minute drive from
Kutaisi. Degustation of Tsolikauri and Krakhuna wines. Lunch in Baia’s house with
traditional Georgian meals especially combined with her wines and the interior of the
degustation space.
Then visit Gelati Monastery. A little tour in the monastery.
For the dinner we will visit the local restaurant “Debi” (SISTERS) –the restaurant has a
beautiful design, and is famous for Georgian cuisine.
Overnight in Kutaisi
After breakfast drive to the Tskaltubo district and visit local sightseeing.
Prometheus Cave is one of the most popular destinations in the region and includes
various types of stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers,
and lakes.

Light Lunch in OTIA” S EZO - “Otias Yard” is located in Tskaltubo - a municipality in
the Imereti region, West Georgia. The house used to belong to the famous Georgian
writer, public figure, and dramatist Otia Ioseliani.
You will be able to taste delicious Georgian wines and cheese (imeruli) made according
to Imeretian traditions: Tsitska-Tsolikouri, Otskhanuri Saphere, Otia-Coupage of
Otskhanuri Saphire and Usakhelouri.
Drive back to Kutaisi for Dinner and overnight
After breakfast drive to upper Racha. Visit Yvirala waterfall in the village Tkhmori.
Continue alongside the river Shareuli to khotevi Castle- the domain of Racha princes tells
a beautiful story about the construction process.
Visit Barakoni - Cathedral of the Mother of God, it is one of the last, important
monuments of old Georgian domed architecture in Racha.
Visit village khvanchkara-taste wine in the factory.
Sori village - St. George's Church - 10th century beautifully painted with 13th-century
frescoes and a historical yard.
Oni - rest stop in the courtyard of the artist's house - light lunch with wine from the
famous host. Return to Kutaisi.
Overnight and dinner in Kutaisi
After breakfast drive to Akhlaltsikhe and visit the unique wine cellar in Meskheti region.
Meskheti is the land where the first Georgian wine was made, is believed to be the
original home of many ancient grape varieties. In the region is a young winemaker:
Giorgi Natenadze, who is foraging the grapes from the forest and oldest destroyed
villages, most grape trees are more than 1-2 hundred years old and the biggest is more the
4 centuries old and is still alive. Giorgi produced the first wine in 2009, and it was the
first winemaking also for the Meskheti (Samtskhe-Javakheti) region.
Degustation and a light lunch will be held in a cellar.
After lunch drive toward Zia- Monastery complex. Carved in a rock
Drive back to Tbilisi for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast transfer to the airport to departure.
