Wine Tour – taste the vintages
Wine culture is hard to hide from in Georgia. Though by no means mandatory, a wine tour is a
wonderful part of any visit to the country and often ends up being a highlight of Georgia for most
people.
Arrival to Tbilisi, airport transfer and accommodation.
Dinner with Georgian Traditional kitchen and wine. Accompaned with rich Georgian folklore
fiery dances and famous polyphonic songs
Overnight Tbilisi
Day will start with review excursion in Tbilisi, visit wine museum in Karvasla. Here are
demonstrated key archeological and ethnographic items related to Georgian winery. Get
introduce of wine making culture and degustation of different types of wine.
Continue to Mtskheta - the old capital of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You also
explore church Svetitskhoveli, place where is saved robe of Jesus. Arcitects are still amazed by
its style form and ideal proportions.
Back to Tbilisi, we will visit Sarajishvili Brandy factory. Tasting of old brandy, it will warm you
up and get you ready for new impressions.
Dinner in Georgian restaurant with traditional dance perfomance.
Overnight in Tbilisi
Meetings with local guiede in a hotel lobby and depart to Kakheti province located in the East
side of the country. The region distinguishes by its climate and fertile soil, that play an important
role in cultivation grapes and vine. The first stop will be in the most remarkable and picturesque
hilltop town of Sighnaghi, situated in the very heart of Georgia’s wine growing region, with
pastel houses and narrow cobblestone streets overlooking the vast Alazani Valley and Caucasus
Mountains.
Visited points: Sighnaghi center with views of Alazani Valley, the museum of famous Georgian
primitivist painter N.Pirosmani,
Stop for lunch in a local family “Vakirelebi” . Here we will be able to taste different kinds of
wine produced in the family. Masterclasses in Churchkhela and Georgian bead “shoti” making
Bodbe Female monastery (grave of Saint Nino - enlightener of Georgia).
Transfer to Telavi and dinner
Overnight in Telavi
We will have tour in Tsinandali museum which was Cultural center and the house-museum of
the poet and public figure Al. Chavchavadze, wine tasting in the oldest enoteca.
Continue to Napareuli.
On the way we will visit Gremi, the architectural monument of the 16th century - the Royal
Citadel and the Church of the Archangel in Kakheti. The next monument is the Nekresi
monastery complex, which is one of the most important cultural centers of Georgia.
Visit Twin Winery, in the village of Nafareuli. Tour in the winery, you will be able to see whole
procedure of wine making from the harvest till fermentation of the wine.

Overnight in Napareuli
Drive back To Tbilisi. On the way we wil visit “Ushikishvilis Marani”. Where we have several
kind of wine degustation. After visit Chateau Mukhrani, which founded in the late 19th century
by Prince Ivane Mukhranbatoni, the Château Mukhrani is a winery and castle located in
Mukhrani village, just outside of Tbilisi. Since 2007, Château Mukhrani has once again been
producing wine harvested in its own vineyards. Today, visitors can tour the restored castle,
gardens and wine cellar; sample Mukhrani wines and Georgian cuisine; and try their hand at
traditional bread baking, churchkhela making or chacha distillation.

Transfer to Tbilisi
After breakfast with beautiful view, we will transfer back Tbilisi for departure.
